    Check that the chest freezer door is closed properly.

    Check that the chest freezer door seal is clean and not damaged.

    Check that the thermostat is set to the correct temperature.

    The chest freezer door maybe being opened to frequently.

    Every time the door is opened, warm air comes in and the cooled air escapes.

  • 5. Check that there is adequate space between the chest freezer and surrounding walls.

  • 6. Check that the chest freezer is not positioned near a heat source.
  • 7. A large quantity of unfrozen food has been placed into the chest freezer.
    Allow warm food to cool before placing into the chest freezer.
