Door troubleshooting

Check that nothing inside is preventing the chest freezer door from closing.

Check the door seal, edge of the frame and hinges for any obstructions or food residue.

If the chest freezer door doesn't stay closed, place a piece of paper between the main unit and the chest freezer door, close the chest freezer door. If you can easily pull the paper out, try cleaning the door seal.

- 4. If the door seal is not air tight, carefully warm the effected area with a hair dryer (no hotter than 50°c), then shape the door seal so it sits correctly.
