    Check that the cooker is turned on at the mains power.

  • 2.

    Check that the cooker circuit is switched ON at the fuse board (also known as the Consumer Unit or Distribution Board). If either, or both, the cooker switch or the RCD (if your fuse board has one) is in the OFF position, check for any faults with the cooker and try switching the switches back into the ON position.

    If either or both switches trip back into the OFF position, contact an electrician or your installation engineer to investigate the faults.

    The cooker will normally have its own circuit breaker switch.

  • 3.

    Check that the control knob has been turned to the desired function and temperature.

  • 4. Check no timers have been enabled.
