Using the Ceramic heater

- 1.
Turn the cooker on at the mains power.
- 2.
Place the saucepan on the ceramic heater which corresponds to the selected hob control knob (e.g.Rear left).

- 3. Turn the desired hob control knob to the desired heat setting (e.g., 6).

- 4.
The ceramic heater will illuminate and heat up to the selected heat setting.
When a higher temperature setting has been selected the heated area may seem to be switching off and on. This is a safety feature to prevent the glass from overheating.
- 5.
The residual heat indicator will illuminate.
While this lamp is illuminated do not touch the ceramic heater or the area around it even if the ceramic heater is no longer glowing. - 6.
When the food is cooked, turn the hob control knob to the 0.
- 7.
Turn the cooker off at the mains power and remove the saucepan from the ceramic heater.
- 8.
The residual heat indicator will go out when the ceramic heater falls below 60ÂșC.
