Being prepared in a power cut

In a power cut, the fridge freezer will stop freezing and cooling. In the event of a long term power cut (anything over 2 hours), try to avoid opening the fridge or freezer door to keep the temperature inside as stable as possible, for as long as possible.
If the power cut lasts longer than 24 hours, empty the freezer and temporarily store the food in a portable freezer with ice packs. Try to keep the food cold for as long as possible.
