Getting to know the tumble dryer

Drawer Cover – The drawer cover allows access to the water tank.
- 2. Programme Selection Knob – Used for selecting the desired drying cycle.

Electronic Indicator and Additional functions – Contains the function buttons and display symbols.

- 4. Water Tank - Used to collect the moisture from the wet clothing.
- 5.
Door – Used to load clothing into the tumble dryer.
- 6.
Interior Light – Turns on automatically when the door is opened and turns off automatically.
Caution: Never try to modify or replace the Interior Light bulb.
- 7.
Humidity Sensor – Used to detect whether the clothing is dry or not.
- 8.
Drum – Used to hold and rotate the clothing during the drying cycle.
- 9.
Lint Filter – Used to prevent fibres which are released from clothing in the tumble dryer blocking the vent hose. The lint filter must be cleaned after each use.

Type Plate – Contains the model and serial number of the tumble dryer.
- 11.
Plinth – The plinth is a cover which allows you to access the condenser.
For more information, see the Cleaning the condenser topic. - 12. Condenser Filter — Used to prevent fibres which are released from clothing in the tumble dryer blocking the condenser.
- 13. Ventilation Grills – Used to allow air to circulate so the tumble dryer does not overheat

Adjustable Feet – Used to level the tumble dryer on a slightly uneven surface.

Power Lead – Used to connect the tumble dryer to the mains power.
