Getting to know the tumble dryer

Water Tank - Used to collect the moisture from the wet clothing.
- 2.
Programme Selection Knob – Used for selecting the desired drying cycle.

Control Panel – Contains the additional function buttons and the electronic indicator symbols/indicators.

- 4. Start/Pause button - Used to start or pause the desired wash cycle.
- 5.
Door – Used to load clothing into the tumble dryer.
- 6.
Drum – Used to hold and rotate the clothing during the drying programme.
- 7.
Lint Filter – Used to prevent fibres which are released from clothing in the tumble dryer. The lint filter must be cleaned after each use.

- 8. Interior Light – Will illuminate for approx 1 minute when the door is opened.
- 9. Type Plate – Contains the model of the tumble dryer.
- 10. Kick Plate – Open the kick plate to access the heat exchanger.For more information, see the Cleaning the heat exchanger topic.
- 11. Heat Exchanger Cover - Used to protect and seal the heat exchanger unit so that air flows correctly through the drying system.
- 12. Heat exchanger – Used to prevent fibres which are released from clothing damaging the tumble dryer. The heat exchanger must be cleaned after every use.

Air Inlet - Air is taken into the tumble dryer, then past a heating element.
- 14.
Adjustable Feet – Used to level the tumble dryer on a slightly uneven surface.

- 16. Drain Hose Connection Point — Connects to the water tank or an external drain hose.
- 17.
Power Lead – Used to connect the tumble dryer to the mains power.
