How to set the auto scan for a software update
To see what each step looks like, just click each step and check out the picture. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard.
- 1. Press the MENU button on your remote.
- 2. Scroll to Settings.
- 3. Press OK.
- 4. Scroll to More…
- 5. Press OK.
- 6. Scroll to Software upgrade.
- 7. Press OK.
- 8. Scroll to Scan for upgrade.
- 9. Press OK.Ensure that an ethernet cable is connected before beginning a scan.
- 10. Wait for the search to complete.
- 11. If there are any available updates, follow the steps to install them. If not, you can choose to search again using an aerial signal by selecting Yes. Otherwise, select No and you will return to the menu.
