Setting up the Parental Controls
To see what each step looks like, just click each step and check out the picture. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard.
- Note: Periodically the look of menus and the home screen may change. Images in these guides may not always reflect what you see on screen. These updates are done automatically by the TV.
- 1.
Press Home.
- 2.
Scroll to Settings, then press OK.
- 3.
Scroll to Channel, then press OK.
- 4.
Scroll to Parental Controls, then press OK.
- 5.
Enter your 4 digit PIN.
The default password is 1234, if you have changed the password after the initial setup, use the new password.
- 6.
From the Parental controls menu you have the ability to block access to desired Channels, Inputs and certain Programme restrictions (for example Age restrictions).
- 7. Scroll to Programme Restrictions, then press OK.
- 8.
Scroll to Ratings, then press OK.
- 9. Scroll to Block Unrated Programs, then press OK.
- 10.
Scroll to the the desired option (E.g., Medium Restrictions), then press OK.
- 11. Press Exit to save the setting.
