Getting to know your remote control
To see what each step looks like, just click each step and check out the picture. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard.
- 1.
Standby: Switches On / Off the TV.
- 2.
Numeric Buttons: Switches the channel, enters a number or a letter in the text box on the screen.
- 3.
Language: Display and change the audio/subtitle language. Turns subtitles on and off.
- 4.
Volume +/-: Increases and decreases the volume.
- 5.
Mute: Completely turns off the volume of the TV.
- 6. Home: Display on on-screen menu.
- 7.
Guide: Display the Electronic Programme Guide.
- 8.
Directional Buttons: Navigate On Screen Displays and adjust the system settings to your preference.
- 9.
OK: Confirm your selections.
- 10.
BACK: Return to previous screen/menu. Return to previous viewing channel/source.
- 11.
Netflix: Used to launch the Netflix app.
- 12.
Prime Video: Used to launch the Amazon Prime app.
- 13. Twitch: Used to launch the Twitch app.
- 14.
Coloured Buttons: Follow the on-screen instructions for coloured button functions.
- 15.
Rewind: Reverse playback in USB mode.
- 16.
Pause: Pauses the media being played.
- 17.
No function
- 18. Play: Starts to play the selected media.
- 19.
Stop: Stops the media being played.
- 20.
Fast Forward: Advance playback in USB mode.
- 21.
Freeview Play: Connects to the Freeview Play platform where you can access available catch-up TV services.
- 22. Rakuten TV: Used to launch the Rakuten TV app.
- 23.
YouTube: Used to launch the YouTube app.
- 24.
EXIT: Exit the On Screen Display menu or return to previous screen.
- 25.
Info: Display on-screen information.
- 26.
Programme +/-: Increases / Decreases the channel number.
- 27.
Text: Displays teletext (where available). Press again to show teletext over the channel being viewed.
- 28.
Source: Shows available broadcast and content sources.
