Clean the inlet filter

Always disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the mains before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance.
To prevent a loss of suction, ensure any removable accessories/filters are assembled and aligned correctly and the dust bag is not full.

Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the mains.

Turn the flexible hose coupling anti-clockwise to unlock, then pull away from the hose socket.
- 3.
Push the lock clip up, then lift up the front cover.
- 4.
Pull the dust bag compartment forwards.
- 5.
Lift up and remove the dust bag from the dust bag compartment.
- 6. Pull out the inlet filter.
- 7. Shake off any dust. Then rinse the inlet filter in warm water. Wait for the filter to dry thoroughly before refitting.
- 8. Replace the inlet filter.
- 9.
With the black arrow facing down, slide the dust bag into the slot in the dust bag compartment.
- 10.
Push the dust bag compartment back into position.
- 11.
Close the front cover until you hear a click.
- 12.
Push the flexible hose coupling into the hose socket, then turn clockwise until it locks into place.
