Vacuum cleaner keeps cutting out

Always disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the mains before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance.
To prevent a loss of suction, ensure any removable accessories/filters are assembled and aligned correctly.

If the vacuum cleaner is very hot to the touch, it maybe overheating. Do not use the vacuum cleaner until it has cooled down.
The vacuum cleaner has a thermal cut off thermostat that protects the vacuum cleaner in case of the motor overheating.

Ensure the power lead is securely plugged into the mains socket.

Check that the dust container is not full and is properly attached to the vacuum cleaner.
