Performing a maintenance wash

Important: Ensure the washing machine is empty before running a maintenance wash.

Start a hot wash cycle (Cotton Intensive). This will run the cleaning product through the washing machine helping to remove any residual washing detergent and kill any bacteria.
Select the correct temperature using the auxiliary temp button.

Use specialist cleaning products or other descaling products, this will help clear any build-up of left-over washing detergent and liquid which may have gathered in the bottom of the washing machine during everyday.
If you do not have any products, you can still commence with the maintenance wash.

After that cycle has finished, put about 250ml of white vinegar in the detergent compartment in the detergent drawer.
- 4.
Start a Cotton 40ÂșC wash cycle. The white vinegar will help remove any remaining odours.
Select the correct temperature using the auxiliary temp button.

When the two wash cycles have finished, check and clean the door seal and the detergent drawer.

Check that the pump filter is clean and free from any objects.
