Using a hob burner
1.
Push the hob control knob in and rotate it clockwise to the MAX position, at the same time press and hold in the ignition button until the hob burner is alight.

Keep the hob control knob pressed in and the ignition button pressed down for at least 5 seconds.

Once lit, ensure the flame is even.
4.
Rotate the hob control knob to the desired heat setting.
5.
To turn off the flame, rotate the hob control knob counter-clockwise to the 0 position.
Always turn off the flame by turning the hob control knob to 0 before removing any saucepans or pots.
6.
If the hob burner fails to light, repeat steps 1-2. If it fails again wait 90 seconds before trying to ignite the burner a third time.
