Removing the Top oven door

Always turn the cooker off at the mains power before you start any cleaning or maintenance.

Do not remove the control knobs when cleaning the control panel.

Do not use cleaners that contain particles, abrasive cleaning powders, caustic creams, wire wool or sharp metal tools as they may damage the cooker surface.

Always wear rubber gloves.

Before cleaning the oven door glass, the oven door must be removed.

1.

Turn the cooker off at the mains power.

2.

Open the top oven door.

3.

Locate the saddle brackets on either side of the open door.

4.

Using a screwdriver lift the saddle bracket to the open position.

5.

Close the top oven door until its almost completely closed.

6.

Pull the top oven door up and away from the cooker.

7.

Clean the glass on the top oven door using a soft non-abrasive cloth with warm soapy water. Dry afterwards with a soft non-abrasive dry cloth.

For glass that is heavily soiled you can use a specialist oven glass cleaner. Follow the instructions on the cleaning product.

Align the top oven door and slot into place with the upper notch (1) first, then carefully lift the bottom half into the slot ensuring the bottom notch (2) sits in the slot.

9.

Fully open the top oven door.

10.

Using a screwdriver close the saddle bracket.

11.

Close the top oven door.
