Cooking Safety
1.
Always position saucepans or pans over the centre of the ceramic heater and turn the handles to a safe position so they can’t be knocked off.
2.
Never operate the ceramic heater without saucepans or pans on.
3.
Only use flat saucepans or pans with a sufficiently thick base.
4.
If possible, always place a lid on the saucepan.
5.
Ensure the base of the saucepan or pan is dry before placing onto the ceramic heater.
6. Ensure the saucepan is in the centre of the ceramic heater.
7.
To conserve energy, never use a saucepan or pan which is smaller than the selected ceramic heater.
8.
Do not use saucepans or pans with a damaged base, as this can scratch the ceramic heater surface.
9. When removing or replacing food into the oven, always use oven gloves.
10. Care should be taken when opening the oven door during or after cooking. The hot steam may cause burns.
