Cleaning the water tank

1. Open the fridge door.

2. Locate the water tank.

3. Carefully pull the water tank out at a 45 degree angle.

4. Disassemble the water tank parts. Firstly remove the water tank cap and metal support wire.

5. Remove water tank cover. To do this unclip the water tank cover at the rear.

6. Remove the water tank cover.

7. Remove the seal ring from the bottom of the water tank. Wash the all parts with warm soapy water, then dry using a dry soft cloth.

8. To remove and clean the water valve and dispenser. Insert a flat head screwdriver between the water valve and fridge door.

9. Carefully lift the water valve edge using the flat head screwdriver.

10. Remove the water valve. The water valve can be cleaned using warm soapy water, then dry using a dry soft cloth.

11. Should the water valve become disassembled, it must be reassembled in the following manner.

12. Insert the spring into the nozzle.

Note: Ensure all the grooves are at the top of the water valve body and nozzle.

13. Attach the dispenser body to the nozzle.

Note: Ensure all the grooves are at the top of the water valve body and nozzle.

14. Push the nozzle into the dispenser body and from the other end push the insert cap onto the end.


15. The water valve is now fully assembled.

16. Carefully push the water valve back into the dispenser body until it clicks into place.

Note: Ensure the nozzle is pointing downwards and the groove on the water valve is aligned with the groove on the dispenser body.

17. Replace the seal ring onto the bottom of the water tank.

Ensure there are no wrinkles or creases.

18. Replace the water tank cap and metal support wire and water tank cover.

19. Insert the water tank by placing the seal ring into the water valve.

20. Align the slots on the side of the water tank with the slots in the door and carefully push the water tank into position.

21. Carefully push the water tank into position.

22. Clean the water dispenser by dispensing warm soapy water through it, then dispense 6 cups of clean water through it to wash away the soapy water.
