Cleaning the heat exchanger

Always make sure that you unplug the tumble dryer from the mains before you start any maintenance.

Warning: Do not use Abrasive cleaners, sharp instruments, soap, household cleaner, detergent or flammable fluids. They may damage the tumble dryer and may cause a fire.

CAUTION: The heat exchanger MUST be completely dry before cleaning it.

1. Unplug the tumble dryer from the mains power.

2.

Locate the kick plate.

3.

Open the kick plate.

4.

Release the 2 cover locks which hold the heat exchanger cover in place.

5.

Pull the heat exchanger cover out.

6.

Using a soft brush and a vacuum cleaner clean the heat exchanger.

7.

Replace the heat exchanger cover.

8.

Lock back into place the 2 cover locks.

9.

Close the kick plate.

10.

Plug the tumble dryer back into the mains power.
