Preparing the laundry

1. Read the washing label on each garment to help sort the washing into different loads.

Sort laundry by colour, type of fabric and how soiled it is. This will help you to choose the correct washing programme and temperature.

Items like bras with metal wires, lace and tights should be placed in a cleaning net.

4.

Ensure that all pockets are emptied before adding clothing to the washing machine.

5.

Turn the clothing inside out to prevent buttons and zips from hitting the door.

6.

Tie up any loose strings on the laundry.

7.

Clothing with raised fabric turn inside out.

8. Remove any surplus animal fir, hair and other materials with a brush.

9.

Ensure no laundry is trapped between the door and the door seal.

10.

Do not exceed the maximum load weight. Check the programme selection table in the user manual.
