    Ensure that the side fan grills are not obstructed. Leave at least 100mm space to ensure good ventilation.

  • 2. Ensure there is room above the chest freezer to open the chest freezer door.

    Place the chest freezer in a well ventilated room with an ambient room temperature of 10°c or above.

  • 4. Keeping your chest freezer in an unheated room that is likely to fall below 10°C (such as a garage), may cause the chest freezer to malfunction and food to thaw.

    Ensure the chest freezer is not placed it in direct sunlight, or near any heat source such as stoves, gas ovens, electrical ovens and heater cores.

    For correct levelling and air circulating underneath the chest freezer, the front feet may be adjusted.
