- 1.
Always position saucepans or pans over the centre of the ceramic heater and turn the handles to a safe position so they can’t be knocked off.
- 2.
Never operate the ceramic heater without saucepans or pans on.
- 3.
Only use flat saucepans or pans with a sufficiently thick base.
- 4.
If possible, always place a lid on the saucepan.
- 5.
Ensure the base of the saucepan or pan is dry before placing onto the ceramic heater.
- 6. Ensure the saucepan is in the centre of the ceramic heater.
- 7.
To conserve energy, never use a saucepan or pan which is smaller than the selected ceramic heater.
- 8.
Do not use saucepans or pans with a damaged base, as this can scratch the ceramic heater surface.
- 9. When removing or replacing food into the oven, always use oven gloves.
- 10. Care should be taken when opening the oven door during or after cooking. The hot steam may cause burns.
