Getting to know the tumble dryer

- 1. Start button - Used to start the drying cycle.Note: The start button will not pause the drying cycle. To stop the drying process turn the Drying programme selector to the Off position.
- 2. Heat selector button - Used for selecting the desired drying temperature.For more information, see the Heat selector button topic.
- 3. Timer selector knob - Used for selecting the desired drying cycle.For more information, see the Timer selector knob topic.

Door – Used to load clothing into the tumble dryer.
- 5.
Drum – Used to hold and rotate the clothing during the drying cycle.
- 6.
Lint filter – Used to prevent fibres which are released from clothing in the tumble dryer blocking the vent hose. The lint filter must be cleaned after each use.

Air intake shroud – Air is taken into the tumble dryer, then past a heating element. Regular cleaning of the filter is required.

- 8. Reset button - Used to reset the tumble dryer if it overheats.For more information, see the The tumble dryer has stopped working topic.
- 9. Adjustable feet – Used to level the tumble dryer on a slightly uneven surface.For more information, see the Adjusting the feet topic.

Exhaust vent – Expels air from inside the tumble dryer.
- 11.
Vent hose – Attaches to the air outlet to expel the air from inside the tumble dryer.
