Checking for blockages

Always disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the mains before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance.
To prevent a loss of suction, ensure any removable accessories/filters are assembled and aligned correctly and the dust bag is not full.

Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the mains.
- 2.
Remove any attached accessory (E.g., floor head) from the extension hose and check for and remove any blockage.
- 3.
If the blockage persists, pull the extension hose from the flexible hose.
- 4.
Check for any blockage and remove using a pair of long nose pliers or a long thin piece of wire.
- 5. Turn the flexible hose coupling anti-clockwise to unlock, then pull away from the hose socket.
- 6.
Check for any blockage and remove using a pair of long nose pliers or a long piece of wire.
- 7. If the blockage persists, remove the inlet filter and check for and remove any blockages.For more information, see the Clean the inlet filter topic.

If the blockage still persists, remove the air outlet filter and check for and remove any blockage.
