Preparing the laundry

- 1. Read the washing label on each garment to help sort the washing into different loads.For more information, see the Laundry care symbols topic.
- 2.
Sort laundry by colour, type of fabric and how soiled it is. This will help you to choose the correct washing programme and temperature.
- 3.
Items like bras with metal wires, lace and tights should be placed in a cleaning net.
- 4.
Ensure that all pockets are emptied before adding clothing to the washing machine.
- 5.
Turn the clothing inside out to prevent buttons and zips from hitting the door.
- 6.
Tie up any loose strings on the laundry.
- 7.
Clothing with raised fabric turn inside out.
- 8. Remove any surplus animal fir, hair and other materials with a brush.
- 9.
Ensure no laundry is trapped between the door and the door seal.
- 10.
Do not exceed the maximum load weight. Check the programme selection table in the user manual.
